The star of David was originally named Magen David ― literally "Shield of David" ― in Hebrew. It symbolizes God, and acknowledges that our King David did not win by his own might, but by the support of the Almighty. The inner core represents the solid powerful force of God radiating out in all directions. My friend, Liz, asked me to make this for her. I love the way it turned out.
